The 60W headlamp is as bright as that of larger-class models, outshining rival models (which feature 35W headlamps). The bright headlamp offers excellent night-time visibility.
The W175’s peashooter-style muffler contributes to the retro image. The exhaust’s curved header pipe complements the design of the engine. And the muffler’s clear, crisp exhaust note adds to rider enjoyment.
Powered by a 177 cc Single cylinder, the W175 offers a displacement advantage over 150cc-class. Ample torque makes it easy to operate, offering a stress-free experience that lets riders focus on the ride. A 5-speed transmission and an engine balancer that tames unwanted vibrations also contribute to a fun, comfortable ride. The engine features the build of engine from a class above, delivering excellent durability.
A front disc brake with single channel ABS offers sure stopping power. A drum brake slows the rear, while adding to the retro looks.
Simple instrumentation includes a Asymmetric semi digital- Retro style speedometer complemented by an odometer, trip meter and indicator lamps. Like the other models in the W family, a “W” emblem on the speedometer face adds a classy touch.
Befitting a retro model, the W175 features 17” spoke wheels front and rear. The tyre tread pattern also contributes to the bike’s retro looks.
30 mm telescopic fork at the front is backed up by dual shocks at the rear. The front and rear suspension work with the rigid frame, providing good shock absorption for a comfortable ride while offering firm enough damping to enable fun riding. Fork boots protect the fork inner tubes, and contribute to the W175’s retro looks – as does the dual shock rear suspension.
